The Cambridge Centre for Sport and Exercise Sciences (CCSES)

The CCSES is based in the heart of Cambridge at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU). We are a multidisciplinary research group addressing significant applied and real-world questions involving sport and exercise contexts which benefit occupational, public, high-performance sport, and clinical health settings. Our Internationally recognised research provides translational and evidence-based solutions for business, charitable trusts, and healthcare domains.

Within CCSES, our mission is to enhance health, performance, and wellbeing, through safe and inclusive physical activity and sport, integrative lifestyle strategies, and – importantly - education.

If you would like to find out more about the CCSES or discuss research opportunities, contact our centre Directors of Research Dr Francesca Cavallerio  and Dr Ash Willmott  or email us directly: [email protected].
