Experience student life as you stay with us in campus accommodation for one of our residential programmes.
Explore the process of designing and developing a great character that connects with a teenage audience. This summer experience allows you to explore character design in 2D or 3D, in an area that interests you.
You could focus on one of the following:
As well as considering the visual aspects of the character, you’ll also explore the themes of representation and identity in characterisation.

Immerse yourself in university life and take part in bespoke activities led by academics in the Faculty of Business and Law as we explore whether companies should be responsible for their environmental impact.
How is this impact measured, who foots the bill and should governments impose strict regulations to force companies to manage their impact? We will look at this and more to consider whether sustainability and social responsibility should be the remit of individual companies or if coming together creates a greater impact.
Throughout this combined Business and Law programme, you'll have the opportunity to explore:

Immerse yourself in of university life and develop an understanding of research through bespoke activities led by academics from the Veterans and Families Institute for Military and Social Research, as well as academics from other disciplines in the university.
Activities will explore personal identity with regards to life as a service child, as well as understanding the world of social research.

Immerse yourself in our bespoke activities led by Medical School academics and develop a realistic understanding of what it's like to be a student studying Medicine.

We are committed to widening access and to recruiting students who have aspirations to study medicine but are from under-represented and/or disadvantaged groups. Our Widening Access to Medicine Scheme (WAMS) states that depending on the circumstances, applicants eligible for this programme may be offered a lower conditional offer at A Level of ABB.

Joined by other students across the region, you'll be immersed into your chosen subject programme. With a task in hand to complete and showcase, our world-leading academics and student ambassadors will support you every step of the way.
You'll have plenty of social time, as well as time to explore the campus and the surrounding city with fellow students on your programme, alongside our friendly staff and student team.
Please note: to be considered for a place on one of our programmes you will need to complete an application form, select the programme of your choice and submit a 500-word supporting statement. In addition to this, we require a reference from your chosen teacher or tutor – please see the document below.
