Dr. Nataliia Osina is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance with an extensive teaching portfolio and a strong research pipeline in international finance. She has many years of experience in supervising MSc/PhD students.

Background

Dr. Nataliia Osina has a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), UK.

Her research interest covers several areas in international finance and banking, with a number of completed papers. Nataliia’s work was presented at major finance conferences, and she serves as a peer reviewer for ABS journals.

Nataliia is lecturing Finance and Accounting modules at both UG and PG levels. She is a Module Leader for the Finance for Decision Making (PG) module and coordinates partner universities.

Prior to joining ARU, Nataliia gained substantial teaching experience at Leicester Castle Business School (DMU) and Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS).

Teaching

Nataliia has a wider range of teaching experience in various postgraduate and undergraduate courses, including Finance for Decision Making (PG) and Financial Management (UG).

She is reflecting on her teaching practices, and adores lecturing finance and banking modules, with a specific interest in developing student subject skills and transferable skills such as critical analysis and thinking, resilience and communication, and problem-solving, employing both quantitative and qualitative methods.
